3. How long we keep data
- Enquiries that did not lead to an order: up to 12 months after the last contact, so we can return to the quote if you get back to us.
- Order data: until contractual claims become time-barred under Polish law (usually 6 years, 3 years for business activity); invoices and accounting records for 5 years from the end of the tax year, as required by law.
- Statistics (Google Analytics): up to 14 months.
- Server logs: for the period set by the hosting provider, usually a few weeks.
4. Who receives the data
We do not sell data. It may only be received by businesses that help us operate, and only to the extent necessary:
- the hosting provider whose servers run the website and email,
- the accounting office, if an order is placed and invoiced,
- Google Ireland Limited, which provides Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Fonts and the Google Maps map on the home page (when the map is displayed, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies),
- public authorities, where required by law.
Google may transfer data to the United States. This is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework), which Google has joined.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores on your device. They allow the browser to be recognised on your next visit.
On your first visit we ask for your consent in a pop-up window. Until you consent, we do not load Google Analytics.
- Analytics (Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager), only with consent: shows how many people visit the website, where they come from and which sections they view. The data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.
- Google Maps: a Google map is embedded on the home page. It loads together with the page, so Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Remembering your choice: we store in your browser whether you consented to cookies (entry
protech_consent_v1) so we do not ask on every visit. This is strictly necessary for the consent window and does not require consent.
Changing your choice: you can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link in the footer. After withdrawal we delete the Google Analytics cookies stored on our domain. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings; we will then ask again on your next visit.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data erased when there is no longer a reason to keep it,
- restrict processing,
- data portability,
- object to processing based on our legitimate interest,
- withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal),
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. Our lead authority is the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl). You may also contact the authority in the country where you live.
To exercise your rights, write to protechbiuro.ak@gmail.com. We will reply within one month.
7. Profiling
We do not make automated decisions about you and do not profile you within the meaning of the GDPR.
8. Changes
If we change how we process data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
9. Language version
This privacy policy is a translation of the Polish version. In case of discrepancies, the Polish version prevails.
